I need to know what are my chancs of not falling pregnant, as my son is a year old , i am not ready for another, and how exactly does luteal phase works, i havent been sexually active since the birth of my son, please could someone help, as i m stressing.Could stress perhaps delay the menstrual cycle.

|Pregnancy changes a woman's body and sometimes it takes a long time for things to fall back into a regular pattern. Stress can have all kinds of strange reactions on you as well. If you are worried about it, then you should go see a gyno (I would suggest going to see one anyways, just to make sure everything is in working order)|||Just get a pregnancy test to make sure.|||My wife has six kids and her periods we delayed by up to nine months after. Even then they were erratic for a while without a regular pattern.

But I'm puzzled: if you haven't had since the birth of your son then how can you be pregnant?

(And yes, stress will effect your menstrual pattern to the extent where you can miss them altogether)
