Natural ways to ease anxiety and stress?
I work every day from 8 - 5, then I volunteer with a presidential campaign from 5 - 10pm. I love what I do, but I'm so stressed and anxious about the upcoming Super Tuesday elections that I worry all the time and I can't sleep at night. What can I do to relax??

Consider these proven strategies:
1) Full body relaxation - search for "progressive relaxation" on the net. If you cannot find one, contact me through my profile and I'll email one to you.
2) Try Fish Oil and L-Theanine -both proven for mild stres, depression and anxiety
3) Take a yoga, tai chi or qi gong class
4) Learn about "mindfullness" and practice twice each day, starting with 15-20 minute increments. Focus one session before bed.
5) Get busy! 30-40 minutes of cardio 3-5 times a week works splendidly for stress and anxiety
6) Focus on your body. Know exactly where you hold stress. Practice releasing these parts of your body
7) Breathe. Sounds simple, I know. But, a study that came out 3 years ago took folks with anxiety and taught them to slow their breathing and focus on 5 second inhales and 5 second exhales for 10 minutes. This de-activates your over zealous nervous system.
