Can anyone help me find a worthwhile musical career?

For the past 2 years, I have known that I wanted to pursue music education for a career. Now I have realized that teaching isn't something that I want to do with my life, but I still want music to be a factor in it. Does anyone know anything else that will be a worthwhile career that involves music? I am usually considered a good learner, and I recently received a 29 on my ACT. I just need help finding a musical career.

You will at some time want to write music. Do it, it's fun.

Who knows, you may be one our great composers some day, you or I won't know unless you try.
