Is Seussical the Musical a good show?

I want to go see it, since it's playing in a theatre near where I live in October, and I'm also a total musical geek. So what are people's opinions on it? I've heard three songs, and I fell in love with 'Biggest Blame Fool'. So is it a good show??

It's a great show! My sister and I did a community theatre version last summer. We had college kids come in and do the main leads- the high school and smaller kids were part of the ensemble. It's so funny and cute! The music and storyline are really "uppitty" and make you want to move. It's also a little cheesy, but that's okay- it's Dr. Seuss! Overall, it was a fun show to do, so I'm sure it would be a fun show to watch.

P.S.- Biggest Blame Fool was probably my favorite song, too. Especially if you get a good Kangaroo. :D

its a really great show!! the Cat is basically the narrator and has to improv most of the show-- if you have a really good Cat then the show will be great. no matter what, tho, it's a hard musical to screw up.|||Yes!! i saw it at a theatre near me twice. and both times i thought it was really entertaining. theres lots of dancing and fun costumes. and i love how all the lines that arent part of songs rhyme. XD its so fun to listen to. my favorite song it alone in the universe. :D|||I am currently in the show right now and i absolutely love it! It is such a fun show. If you are looking for laughs you should see the show for sure!|||We had a tour company come to our school and do it. It was very good.|||my sis saw it last year she said it was really cool|||its really fun to watch if you just want to have a good time|||I saw the "junior" version, and it was amusing for adults, but I think it was a bit "wordy" for the youngsters in the audience (mostly preschool/early elementary), which surprised me, I assumed it would be very kid friendly.

But the full stage musical for a teen or adult should be spectacular, there were some really funny moments for those old enough to understand them!|||i love it! its so funny and is usually well made with bright costumes and a nice set. the songs are really good and catchy and i love dr seuss stuff and this is like all his works in a 2 hour (or so) sit down! and not only kids love this, but i see a lot of adults too because it makes you feel happy watching something like this so definitely go see it!
