Musical Genre?

Ok, i need to find out what a specific genre of music is so i can listen to more of it, i like what i have heard, but i havent heard very much of it. It is commonly in movies like blood and chocolate and the convenant, some rob zombie music fits in as well, it usually has heavier drums and guitars without much in the way of lyrics, i know it is rock but i would like to know more specifically what it is called or like, thanks

i know my rock music, i love my metal music,i just am looking to see exactly what to look up,

it isnt quiet like newer metallica or most of trivium or even megadeth, and the singers, if there is one, usually isnt a screamer,

also, some of nine inch nails stuff, and A perfect circle is like what i am looking for as well,

Just search up Marilyn Manson! Hes about one of each!

I'm pretty sure that Rob Zombie is Death Metal.

Nin and Zombie I'd consider industrial rock

APC is more of an alternative band

I like Tool and I'm not at all sure how to classify them either, maybe alternative metal?
