Summer Breeze by Seals & Croft

Every time I hear it, I remember driving home from a day of college classes, car window down, summer breeze in my looooong hair, feeling quite content with the world.

I was fortunate enough to attend a Seals & Croft concert at that college a year or so later.

Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce

I cry every time I hear this because it was "our song". Sadly, we were destined not to be together; he had to return to his own country because his parents didn't want him to marry an American girl. Back then, most of us did what our parents wanted, no matter how it affected us. *SIGH*

Banish Misfortune, Swallowtail Jig/Morrison's Jig, and/or Rufty Tufty/Gathering Peascods (all traditional music)

Every time I listen to recordings of these, I can close my eyes and think about being at a Renaissance faire, specifically Bristol Renaissance Faire near Kenosha, Wisconsin, a walled Elizabethan-era "village" covering 35 acres. I go in costume and play those very songs on my bowed psaltery. They're quite popular, and many musicians perform them, along with lots of other traditional/folk music. Bristol is Heaven on Earth! I also think of other events I've attended.
