Musical notation question. if you could write one note to represent a quarter, 8th, and 16th note, w
im taking a music theory class and we just had a test and i need help figuring out what the answer is to this question because no one in class knew what it was after the test.
he gives us a certain amount of notes on a staff and asks us to represent them as one note, and it can be dotted
for example, two quarter notes would be represented by a half note
for the problem, he gave us a quarter note, an eighth note, and a sixteenth note. how would you represent those three notes as one note?
Musical notation question. if you could write one note to represent a quarter, 8th, and 16th note, what is itsay yeswith a quarter note with 2 dots.
the 1st dot mean half of the note (add half of the quarter, that is eight note), and the 2nd dot would mean half of the 1st dot (add half of the eight note, that is sixteenth note).
if there's 3rd dot, it will mean adding half of the 2nd dot, and on, and on...
Hope this help
p.s. I got A+ on my Music Theory classes so feel free to ask me anything.
Bless You
