Musical sound transmission help in a warehouse?





I have a 3,000 sq foot warehouse that my son's band plays in. When the band plays, each instument cannot be heard individually. What can I do to help each instrument heard clearly? This is a heavy metal band with two guitarists, a bass, a vocalist and a drummer. We have tools and a boat in storage in the space. I do not want to divide the space. There are limitations in the ceiling due to radiant heat. The walls are 12 inch concrete block.

There really isn't anything easy to take care of this problem. The space needs to be more "dead" for there to be much seperation. Try hanging thick blankets around the area that they play in.

you need a backdrop made of that old egg carton Styrofoam that's hard to find now a days but id try buying some small thin cheap mattresses and putting them up behind them or even liners for semi trucks might work
