Vietname is safe to visit, but whenever you travel, it is always safe to be cautious. If you have concerns, I recommend that you contact their embassy.

i guess southern vietnam is safer as it was on US's side during the war..|||Yes.. and the people there are beautiful|||Vietnam is a country. It can't travel anywhere. How would you make it travel?|||I don't know about now but it wasn't safe in 1968 !|||I think it is safe to travel to Vietnam. No trouble with the war but you have to take the necessary precautions for malaria.

Vietnam is not same like many years ago. At the moment there are a lot of nice hotels and many attractive places like Halong Bay and beaches.|||My last visit to Vietnam was last November, and I'm planning to go again two more times before the end of the year.
