I have a problem?
i left my job in september as they wouldn't take me on permanently. I am currently at university studying for a degree in drama. i have a btec in performing arts and quite a lot of other qualifications, i've got job experience too. my c.v is brilliant and my english written skills and i get requested a lot of interviews. however i am interviewing well to but i STILL can't get work. the employers who reject me even admit that i am really skilled for the job and have done well in my interview so what is the problem? i'm getting sick of this now because i need work coz the money is becoming a major issue. what p*sses me off is i really am a hard worker and WANT to work because i enjoy working. any suggestions?
I have a problem?concert venueAre you being placed by a company that specializes only in 'temp' positions, or are you with a company that does "temp-to-perm" jobs? I only ask this because I went with a company that featured "temp-to-perm" jobs. I only expected to be with them a few weeks, but I have now been at the same job close to seven years.
I have to admit that I'd rather be doing something I REALLY enjoy, but it's not a horrible job and it pays okay. If money is really becoming an issue, you might have to "expand your horizons" as to the things you will and will NOT do. Find something now that will help you pay the bills, but keep looking and preparing for the things you really WANT to do.
