As a HND id equivalent to two of a degree you could top up your HND to a degree - such as you could do at a local university or the Open University, in an appropiate subject. Then complete a PGCE.

There could be the alternative of doing the OU BEd, degree with exemption from part of the course from your HND. Some universities may also concider that. You should contact the Education Dept of Universities you are interested in using/attending.

Try applying to teacher training college

They may take you with that if you are a mature student|||Enter HND in google and narrow down from that...|||You can apply straight to teaching training at a university, it is usually a 4 year course as you have to obtain a degree to do teacher training, alternately you can get a degree in what ever subject and then apply for teacher training, which I think then is only a 2 year course. Either way you are looking at, at least 4 years before you can teach, at any level.|||in the front door and straight to the room
