Looking for some good songs to sing with kids...?
I teach 8-12-year-olds at a performing arts center and I like to teach them a new little song to sing as a warm-up once in a while.
I was wonderfing if anyone knew of any good songs to teach them, or if you could refer me to a site that had some. I'm looking for anything that has some movement to it, like something that would be sung at a summer camp or something.
So far they know "Friends" (Mozart), "Little Cabin in the Woods", "I Went to the Animal Fair", and "Bottle Top" ("Don't throw your trash in my backyard...").
Any suggestions would be great!!

Um, how about the music from "The Sound of Music?" There are many great from that classic movie, and they're easy to learn!|||my little sister is 11 and her music teacher has them warm up with "Mary had a little lamb" and ummmmm "three blind mice" it is cute once they learn them. if those don't work find something they love to sing. Rose (little sister) sings those songs all the time. Good luck Sugar. even try "Doe a Deer"
