Opera need help?
Do u have go to a performing arts school to become a professional opera singer.
Please help.
Opera need help?performing showsWell, it doesn't matter the label of the school you will attend, but what DOES matter is to sing correctly therefore...beautifully!
Keep in mind that opera is a high form of performing art, and it doesn't matter how talented you are by nature.... but how effectively and SKILLFULLY you are using your talent with the right techniques. like BREATH taking, how to PROJECT your voice correctly and effectively. how to COLOR your voice....so you will definately need an experienced opera teacher, and practice practice practice....
or else you will be like an uncarved unshaped diamond!
Good luck!

no - but I would expect your major in music would be voice - many fine Universities out there|||No sorry.|||It probably does help- you'll recieve a "proper" training. though if you're really really lucky and really really talented you may be able to become a professional opera singer without going to a performing arts school. Why don't you try getting into the chorus of a local company?|||I don't know too many opera singers who went to a performing arts high school, but I'm sure some did. Most American singers, though, did study music in college.
