Stay at current college or transfer?
First off, I know this topic has been killed on these forums. I need advice. I am 3 semesters away from getting my BA in MIS and then I would like to get a masters in speech pathology. People have lately been telling me I would be better off with my MA in business as well but speech pathology is something im genuinely interested in. Any thoughts on that front? should i choose a MA based on income or interest? Secondly, I hate my current college and its not due to lack of social life. I have always wanted to pursue music but have never been financially set to do so. All my friends took out gigantic loans of $60,000 and upwards to go to performing arts colleges. I stayed behind because I was trying to be realistic about what a hard industry entertainment is to break into. I currently have no debt. I want to mess around on the music scene in my spare time but my current state offers NOTHING. I was thinking about transferring. My credits were transferable but I dont know if I want to give
Stay at current college or transfer?comedy show1) Stick with Speech Pathology, business will (not might, but will) give you a higher income, but money isn't everything. You can live off of a speech pathologist's salary whether you're in public schools or at a private firm. You want to love what you do. I suggest maybe taking a couple of economics and business classes, to gauge how much you will like the subject.
