he is ready to convert just to show off my parent.. i want to perform hajj with my husband .. will this be ok. I would like to have answers based on quran.. if i marry another guy it would be a sin cause i love him a lot and cannot even think of marrying some one else now...

The Quran is just as messed up a book as the bible. You don't have to base your decisions on it or any other book. Seriously, do what you want to do. Marry who you want to marry. You're the one who has to live your life; not anyone else.

You are a person with inherant worth, dignity, and intelligence. You don't need anyone else to tell you if who you decide to love is in accordance with any religion. Love someone good for you and be happy.

only allow this man to convert if he is truly going to devote himself to himslef. If he will simply convert to show you and your family, he is not worth anything|||Live your life not your parents|||Not a problem. Of course you can marry him as long he convert to Islam.|||well..you can marry him once he converts to islam,but you have to make sure that he convert just to say (la elah ella Allah) not bcuz of u|||Follow your heart. Religion should not be an obstruction to love. If he's willing to convert, it shows that he is willing to give up the religion he was raised just to marry you. therefore, i dont think you should let him down. =) Because trust me not many non-muslims i know would ever think about converting to islam.|||He will have to convert....I am not Muslim, but was exposed to a similar circumstance via a friend.|||Salaam alaykum,
