I have mono... HELP!!!?

Okay, so I went to the doctor today and he discovered that I have mono. However, I have not had any fevers or throat pain, so I guess it may have been caught early enough (?) He put me on steroids to ease the swelling, etc. My question is this: my musical for school is March 13-15, and I am the lead, so there is no way I can miss it cause our school is dumb and we don't have understudies. I obviously have had the infection long enough to be 100% positive of what it is, but I can sing and act and dance as if nothing is wrong, so my vocal is not a problem. If I follow his instructions, which consist of staying home from school and only going to the last 2 rehearsals before the show, will I be okay enough to perform well? I know I will still probably be sick, but will I be okay enough?

nope , i wouldnt do it , with mono you get worse before you get better , some people get mono really bad worse than others . i wouldnt risk it . i had mono before and i know how awful it is . oh and just to tell you once you have mono you will have it for the rest of your life and signs of it will come up when ever . it really sucks there is no cure for it .
