I'm undecided about work vs. school. Please HELP!?

I'm 27 and have been through a rough 2 years. I have not been working or studying to pay attention to health isuues. Before all this I was juggling work as a performing artist and a student taking languages (b/c it's something to fall back on - maybe an ESL teacher in the future).

Now that I'm feeling better I am wondering if I should go for a two year conservatory program in theater? Or should I go back to what I was doing before I decided to look after my health? The dilemna is I have gone broke taking all this time off - so I would have to take out a loan to go to this school. PLUS I AM 27! By the time I finish I will be 30 and have noting to show for it. Should I be sensible ad work at clearing my debt or should I go to this school? Eek. Help!

Education is rarely wasted. A degree in modern languages will indeed be something to fall back on. But as well having a working command of a couple of foreign languages will give you a really valuable skill that will make you an asset for lots of employers. Say you were with a troupe that was going to tour in Europe...
