Opinions and Thoughts on Aaron Lewis from Staind?

I've been a fan of Aaron Lewis and Staind for years now.. I fell in love with his words when I was a teenager.. and gained a lot of inspiration from them for my own writing since I've been into poetry and performing.. I love the emotion in his words.. and the band really goes well together.. I saw Aaron Lewis Solo Acoustic in St. Louis back in March and was not disappointed at all.. I thought the show was great.. and he did all the songs I hoped he would.. plus others I didn't think he would do.. What are your opinions on Aaron Lewis or Staind in general?

Dysfunction was amazing.........Break the Cycle had its moments........but I felt Aaron and the boys needed to add something to their music. As a lyricist, for the most part Aaron is good, but the songs became to whiny for me. Epiphany is an amazing song that will always be one of my favorites.

But then again, I was listening to these guys years before they hit the mainstream, seeing them live in Springfield, Worcester and Boston in small clubs that were always packed before Fred discovered them.

I love Staind. It is one of the best groups ever. Break the Cycle is a all time favorite. I hope to see them live one day.|||Whinny complain-about-my-problems music. Also known as emo music. The only difference between Staind and any emo band is Staind is a nu-metal band
