Why do the religious fundamentalists always attack youth culture?
First it was the zoot suiters, then it was black rythm and blues, then rock and roll, then Elvis couldn't be shown below the waist when he was performing, then the hippies, then the disco craze, and now the rappers.
They always describe how it'll ruin our kids and turn them into immoral perverts, and how it will eventually destroy our "christian" society. Some go as far as saying it's "of the devil" or some such hogwash. Each time they jack up the rhetoric and make it out like it's the end of the world.
When will these people gain some perspective and see that it's just kids trying to annoy them?
