Yesterday, I had been to a magic show, and my cousin sister who is 18 years old volunteered for a trick. The magician hypnotised her and performed magics like inserting a sword through her neck!! and making her lying horizontally in thin air with out any support etc., ( The same was videographed and given to her as a gift. as she had missed seeing that particular magic.!!) After wards, she was perfectly normal.

My question is, whether such short spells of hypnotism by a complete stranger will have any effect on her mental status later?
