Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my cd/dvd player on my laptop?





i have a toshiba satelite laptop, and it won't play any type of disk. it still turns and tries to read it cuz i can hear it and my pointer shows a little cd by it when i try to play a cd. when i go to "my computer" and try to run the drive it says "this request could not be performed because of an I/O device error".

Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my cd/dvd player on my laptop?regal theater

try reinstalling the drivers for the drive
