Need help with singing a capella?

For my school talent show I am singing a song I wrote but I don't have music for it so I am singing it a capella. Any suggestions on how to make it sound better without music or to quickly write music to go with it. It is sort of a pop song. also any advice for performing it.

find a friend who can harmonize with you, or add vocal percussion. There is nothing quite as impressive as someone or group who can nail a song without any instrumentation. A Capella is my favorite type of music but it is hard to pull off with a single voice.

Get a bongo drum|||An echo effect might help. An amp and mixer with a good mic and speakers using a monitor etc.

I don't know what to say except that if you can sing, you should be able to do it without accompying music BUT it is "incomplete" so to speak. You could try getting someone you know to offer some basic guitar chords or keyboard chords as a basic accompaniment. Get them to play and have it recorded as best you can and have it replayed with a cd player and mixer as you sing.....|||personally if i didnt have any music I would find or make a good friend that knew how to play an instrument and have them play for me otherwise I wouldnt do it....|||A capella mainly depends on the integrity of the voice, since there can't be any special effects or instrumentals added.
