Singing Fright?

I'm Sure This Website Gets This Question A Lot. Okay..When I Was Smaller I had always Dreamed of Becoming a Singer. Only My Mom Knew, And after That Stage I decided To Be Realistic and Decide That it Could never Happen to Some Minnesota Gal Like Me. I've recently Watched TV Shows Of How People Became Famous Singers And I Thought Maybe There Could Possibley Be Hope For Me. Now just In The Past Couple Of months I have Wanted To Become A singer. But My Problem Is..I Can Absoluty Not Perform In Front Of Anyone. Me and My Mom Usually Listened To our Favorite Songs In The Car And Blast The Volume & Sing Along. But I Cant Anymore..I Just Humm Quietly Now And I Don't Know Why I Have Such A Fear For Singing In Front Of Others. I Have Only Sang For My friends Before And They Think I'm Great..I Think I am a Great Singer Too...But I Just Cannot Sing To Anyone other than my 2 Best Friends. So This Chance Could Never Happen For me right?..What Advice Would You Give me?

Hey sweetie! Well I had the same problem So I sang in talent shows, theatres, clubs, every where..I even did musicals *I'm an extra in HSM* awesome :D I made a demo and copies and sent it to record studios hoping they'll like it and yeah I have a record deal with Epic..I met some stars it's fun! Very hard though...Just keep trying hun! :D I broke out of my shyness and just gave it my all..
