Baking soda. Spray/spread it. Leave for a few hours, then wipe off.|||vinegar - stinks whilst you are doing but once you wash it down there is no smell at all.|||Febreeze and Vanish sprays are pretty good.|||Bleach!|||With difficulty... some smells never go... cat pee is one of them... I'd use washing up liquid with Dettol and leave it open to the fresh air for a few days... failing that... either repaint it or creosote it!|||You can buy a special cleaner for cat urine that breaks down the enzymes. I can't remember what it is called but you can buy it in pets mart.|||Biological washing powder and then surgical spirit.|||you can buy from asda a can of spray that gets rid of pet odours, you spray it on the area and it foams up and then disappears, but it leaves behind a lovely smell.|||Try lemon juice. It will also keep that cat from coming back, they hate lemon.|||I had a similar experience..a cat crept into my kitchen, this is many years ago. but I used the same stuff as you used when soaking nappies. it worked.. its very strong, costic soda. thats it... good luck|||In all honesty wood is going to be one of the hardest things to get the smell of cat pee out of. Your best bet is probablly to get a good heavy duty enzyme cleaner (from pet smart or the like) let that soak into the wood for at least 3 or 4 hours then the next day soak the wood with as much febreeze as it will take up. If the cat pee went undiscovered for a significant length of time there is a good chance you will never get the smell out completely, but you can probablly control the worst of it.|||Wash with hot water and biological washing powder wait till its dry then wipe with surgical spirit . But wood can hold the scent it can soak into it ,so if this doesnt work the only option is take the soiled part way and rebuild it, sorry but thats what id do.|||try vinegar. it's great for alot of things|||Sorry I can't suggest any home made remedies - I have tried all that are mentioned here myself - to no effect or made the problem worse! - however I found a product called "Urine-Off"- just type the name into your search engine to go to the website- its a specially designed product to breakdown and remove the uric acid crystals that are the cause of the odor. I have several cats, one a tom, and it works a treat.|||Try Zoflora it works for me|||Try these:
