Is it childish if you are 13 and you still like watching playhouse disney,noggin,playing with bratz and barbies,nd obsessive over the disney princesses.my friends thinks so but i dont.but 1 of my friends is 14 nd she hates dollz,my other friend shaves off their hair and cuts off their head,and the other 1 is a boy nd i thinks he plays with barbies but i dont know.his older brother said he does.but his bhrother lies.so is it me or them just trying to act mature

I think in today's world people grow up way too fast. No one can really set a maturity level on anyone. Maturity, I believe is based more on the pillars of character like citizenship, responsibility, trustworthiness, respect, fairness, and caring. If you do what is considered mature in the area of the 6 pillars, whose to say that a 13 year old can't enjoy things like playhouse Disney, noggin, and things of that nature? I am 13 and I don't play with those things, but you never know. I think that ripping off heads of barbies and destroying them is yes just a way of trying to be mature. I think it's completely IMmature (to try and "kill" barbies), but who am I to put a maturity level on people?

I think maturity is just having enough self control/discipline, and following the 6 pillars of character. So, mature or immature...it doesn't matter. You just have to be mature in your decisions. You do what you enjoy doing and don't let anyone tear you away from things you like.
